Using APOLLOS
Effective October 1, 2026
Purpose
APOLLOS is a Christian Bible-study tool focused on helping seekers understand what it means to become a Christian, including questions about sin, grace, faith, repentance, baptism, salvation, and a next step toward Christ. Questions outside that focus may be referred to an elder or minister. APOLLOS is provided for study and educational purposes.
AI-generated responses
Responses are generated from a curated study library, but automated systems can still misunderstand a question, omit context, or produce an imperfect answer. Verify important conclusions by reading the cited Scripture in context and, when appropriate, discussing them with a trusted human teacher.
Diagram and chart aids
APOLLOS may offer a diagram or chart to reorganize a longer answer into a simpler visual form. These aids are based on the answer already displayed and are intended to improve comprehension. APOLLOS does not use video for this feature, and a visual aid should not be treated as adding teaching beyond the accompanying answer.
Not professional advice
APOLLOS does not provide medical, legal, financial, mental-health, emergency, or other licensed professional advice. Do not use it as a substitute for qualified professional help or emergency services.
Acceptable use
Do not use APOLLOS to interfere with the service, bypass usage safeguards, automate abusive traffic, probe for secrets, attack other systems, or violate applicable law. Access may be limited or blocked when necessary to protect the service and its users.
Feedback and optional human contact
When you select Submit feedback on the feedback form, APOLLOS sends the information you entered to its designated feedback inbox through an email-delivery provider. Elder-or-minister and congregation-connection features may open an email draft for you to review, edit, and send yourself. Congregation-connection drafts include the designated APOLLOS feedback inbox in CC.
The Stay in touch feature offers separate opt-in choices for a personal follow-up Bible study and for occasional APOLLOS Bible-study emails. Contact information and preferences are submitted only after you actively select at least one option and send the form. Phone numbers are used only for personal follow-up when you select a phone-based contact preference; the current feature does not enroll you in SMS/text messaging.
You may withdraw from optional future contact by replying “unsubscribe” or “stop” to an email, or by asking the person who contacts you to stop. Do not submit contact information you do not want delivered through the email system used to process these requests.
Availability and changes
APOLLOS may be updated, limited, suspended, or unavailable from time to time. Features, study material, usage limits, and supporting services may change as the project develops.
Study-library provenance
The APOLLOS knowledge base contains material from multiple study collections. Source attribution is preserved where available. Inclusion of a source identifies its provenance and does not change APOLLOS into the organization or author from which that source originated.
External services and links
Scripture lookup, hosting, answer generation, email delivery, live congregation place search, congregation websites, email software, and other linked services are operated by their respective providers and may have separate terms and privacy practices. When a live congregation has no known email, APOLLOS may inspect a small number of public pages on the official website returned by the place-search provider solely to locate a clearly published contact email. Live congregation and contact details should be verified on the congregation's own website or public listing before you rely on them.
No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation
APOLLOS is provided as available. Reasonable safeguards are used to improve reliability and accuracy, but uninterrupted access, complete accuracy, and error-free operation are not guaranteed.
Continued use of APOLLOS after material updates to these terms means you are using the service under the updated terms.
