Grace is God's gift
Ephesians 2:8–9 places the source of salvation in God's grace and rules out boasting in human works. Titus 3:4–5 likewise points to God's kindness and mercy rather than personal achievement.
That does not make the human response meaningless. APOLLOS's study material distinguishes earning salvation from accepting God's gift in the way Scripture directs. Faith responds to grace through trust and obedience.
Salvation is offered because of God's kindness and mercy, not because anyone deserves it.
Personal works do not place God in our debt or give anyone a reason to boast.
Grace and faith belong together: the gift is God's, while faith trusts and responds.
Responding to the gospel does not purchase grace; it accepts what God has provided.
This introduction summarizes themes already present in APOLLOS's grounded salvation material.
